Do not allow objects to hit/impact the grid.

Do not immerse grid in water or other liquid.
x
Do not peel labels or vinyl covering.
x
Inspect the grid for physical damage before use.

Clean the grid regularly (between each patient) with an approved chemical. Refer to for more infor-
mation.
Use
On, Off, and Sleep Modes
Off
The detector only turns off when the Digital Detector battery is removed. There is no OFF button.
Sleep

When the Digital Detector is on, push the black standby button and hold down for four seconds. The
Digital Detector will go into the Sleep Mode. Press for one second to wake up from the sleep mode.

When placed into the bin, the Digital Detector battery will begin charging and the Digital Detector will
go into the Sleep Mode.
On

When the Digital Detector is in the Sleep Mode, push the black standby button and hold down for one
second. The Digital Detector will automatically wake up and be ready to use for exposures in 10 sec-
onds.

When pulled out of the bin, the Digital Detector will automatically wake up and be ready to use for
exposures in 10 seconds.

Detector Alignment

To aid in proper alignment of the detector with respect to the X-ray source, there are alignment marks
centered on the front side (imaging side) of the detector. The arrow represents the default heads-up dis-
play orientation.
