Storing
Your
Favorite Settings

Patcties
The
P-55 allows
you
to store together, into
what
is
known
as a
"User
Patch," a collection
of
settings
made
for
the
Part
Parameters
shown
below.
By
creating
User
Patches,
you can
instantly
obtain a
group
of
settings
you have found
to
be
best
for
a certain
situation,
without needing
to
redo the Parameter
settings
one by
one.
They
can be used
when
Instrument
Table
1
is
selected.

Patches
You

use a
MIDI
keyboard
or other external
MIDI
device
to
get the
P-55
to
call
up
specific
User
Patches.
In
order
to
specify
one
of the
User Patches from
UOl
U16, you
need
to
have
the external
MIDI
device
first
send
a
Control
No.
(Bank
Select
message),
followed
by
a
Program
Number
(Program
Change
message).
Refer
to
the
correspondence
table
below
to
determine
the required values
for
the
MIDI
data.
