Key
Shift
The Key
Shift
function
is
convenient
to
use
when
wishing
to
make
music
easier
to
play,
since
it
allows
you
to
shift
a
whole
piece
up
or
down
in
semitone
units.
For
example, you
could
set
it
so
you can
play
a
song
that
is
originally
in
the
key
of
D
major
(2
sharps),
while
you
actually
use the
more
familiar fingering that
you
would
use
for
C
major.

octave,
and 24

two
octaves. At zero, there
will
be
no
transposition
at
all.
