2. Afterwards, rinse the cuvettes/sample cells several times
with tap water and then thoroughly with deionized water.
Note: Glass cuvettes/sample cells that have been used for organic
solvents (such as chloroform, benzene, toluene, etc.) must be rinsed
with acetone before being treated with cleaning agents. In addition,
another rinse with acetone is necessary as a final treatment step before
the cuvettes/sample cells are dried.
C A U T I O N
To avoid a possible electric shock, disconnect the instrument from the
power source before servicing the lamp.
1. Switch off instrument.
2. Remove the power cable from the instrument.
3. Turn the instrument to allow work access to the underside.
4. Using a slot-head screwdriver, undo the lamp cover screws.
5. Remove the cover.
N O T I C E
Burn hazard.
Wait until the lamp cools down. Contact with the hot lamp can cause
burns.
6. Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the two screws for
the lamp holder.
