8. Shut off unit. Remove jumper wire from wire
harness and plug connector into seat switch.
9. Remove the jack stands.
10. Raise the deck and re-install the height of cut pin.
11. Check that the machine does not creep in neutral
with the park brake disengaged.
Adjusting the Seat
Ride Suspension
S-Series Only
The seat isolator can be changed to maximize rider
comfort (see Figure 74).
• For a firmer ride, move the sear isolator rearward.
– used for operators 200 lb (91 kg) and over
– mowing rough terrain
• For a softer ride, move the seat isolator forward.
– used for operators less than 200 lb (91 kg)
– mowing smooth, well established lawns
