Printed Image Trouble

When the following printed image trouble occurs, implement appropriate procedures.
Symptom
Printouts are totally too
light.
White background parts
of the image appear to
have a slight overall
coloration.
Black or color dots appear
on the white background.
Printouts are fuzzy.
Printouts are cut off.
Images are skewed.
Printouts have vertical
lines.
Checkpoints
Is the paper damp?
Is EcoPrint mode enabled?
Is the device used in an
environment with high humidity or
where the temperature or humidity
changes suddenly?
Is the paper loaded correctly?
Corrective Actions
Replace the paper with new paper.
Disable [EcoPrint] mode.
Run [Developer Refresh].
Run [Laser Scanner Cleaning].
Make sure the paper type setting is
correct for the paper being used.
Run [Calibration].
Run [Developer Refresh].
Use in an environment that has
suitable humidity.
Set [Drum Heater] to [On].
Run [Drum Refresh].
Check the position of the paper
width guides.
Run [Laser Scanner Cleaning].
