When correct, oil should be visible in the
sight glass at a point midway between
the
upper
(maximum)
(minimum) markings on the sight glass.
Note:
An accurate indication of the level
of oil in the engine is only shown
when the engine is at normal
operating
temperature

If it is necessary to top up the oil level,
remove the filler plug and add oil, a little
at a time, until the level registered in
the sight glass is correct.
Caution
Make sure no foreign matter or
contamination
during an oil change or top up.

stop the engine. Secure the motorcycle
on the side stand.
Allow the oil to settle for five minutes
before draining.
