PW class to be referenced. A PW class defines the PW transport mode and tunneling policy for
the PW.
To configure an LDP VPLS instance:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a PW class and enter
its view.
3.
Configure the PW transport
mode.
4.
Specify a tunneling policy.
5.
Return to system view.
6.
Create an LDP VPLS instance
and enter VSI view.
7.
Specify LDP as the PW
signaling protocol and enter
VSI LDP view.
8.
Specify an ID for the VPLS
instance.
9.
Create a peer PE for the VPLS
instance and enter L2VPN
peer view.
10.
Return to VSI LDP view.
11.
Enable the PW switchover
function
switchover delay time.

Configuring BGP VPLS

Before you configure BGP VPLS, complete the following tasks:
Configure an IGP on the MPLS backbone devices (PEs and P devices) to guarantee the IP
connectivity of the MPLS backbone. For configuration information, see Layer 3—IP Routing
Configuration Guide.
Configure basic MPLS on the MPLS backbone devices (PEs and P devices) to establish LSP tunnels
on the backbone network. For configuration information, see
