Siemens provide toolkits to be used for installation, maintenance
and service of the LDS 6 laser gas analyzer. These toolkit are
described in this appendix.
6.1

Flange Alignment Kit

The Flange Alignment Kit (shown in Figure 6.1) is intended for
use when installing the two opposite process flanges on the
measurement volume. It consists of a light source, two align-
ment flanges, an aiming tool, a battery for the light source and a
battery charger. The light source is a halogen lamp with a wide
beam angle and can consequently be mounted on non aligned
process flanges (which will be the case when the first flange is
aligned).
