DVD BLOCK SERVICE POSITION
Note: If the DVD block of the set to be repaired can be moved up
and down, set the DVD block to the position described
below according to the part to be replaced, so that you can
disassemble the set easily.
(The set can be disassembled even if the DVD block cannot
be set to the specified position.)
1. If a part of DVD block is replaced:
Set the DVD block to the down position.
2. If a part other than DVD block is replaced:
Set the DVD block to the up position.
DVD MECHANISM DECK (CDM86-DVBU101) SERVICE POSITION
• Fundamentally, all the repair work should be performed with the TV erected.
Note: As the mechanism deck (CDM86-
DVBU101) can be removed up to
horizontal position, place a pedestal
underneath as necessary when
performing the repair.

CAUTION
When performing the repair with the DVD block
in up state, place a pedestal to prevent the part
to be repaired from falling, as shown below.
