When using the fixed sensor, line up the feed gap sensors between the upper and lower sensors. When shipped from the factory, the black mark sensor is positioned at the center of the effective print area and the feed gap sensor is located 10 mm left of center as viewed from the front.

    2. MAJOR UNIT REPLACEMENT EO18-33006 2.9 REPLACING THE I/O PC BOARD 2.9 REPLACING THE I/O PC BOARD 1) Disconnect the 13 harnesses from CN1 to CN3 and CN5 to CN14 on the I/O PC board. (See Fig. 2- 2) Remove the two SM-3x5 screws and one SM-4x8 screws from the I/O PC board. Remove the I/O PC board from the printer by releasing it from the locking supports.
  • Page 15 1) Set the ribbon so that the ribbon end sensor can detect the ribbon. Then turn on the power. NOTE: Use TOSHIBA TEC-approved ribbon (TTP-110). 2) Measure the voltage between TPRETR pin on the I/O PC board and the printer inner plate (GND) with a oscilloscope, and adjust the voltage to 3.0–0.2V by turning VR1 on the I/O PC board.

To maintain optimal operating condition and help gain maximum performance and life of machines, we would recommend you to conduct periodic maintenance.
