Check the oil level through the check win-
dow, located on the drive chain housing.
If the oil is below the minimum level mark,
remove the dipstick and add sufficient oil
of the recommended type to raise it to the
maximum level mark. NOTICE: Make
sure that no foreign material enters
the drive chain housing.

Recommended drive chain oil:
SAE 75W or 80W API GL-3 Gear oil

Install the dipstick, making sure to align
the notch in the dipstick handle with the
projection on the drive chain housing.

Install the rubber cap.
To adjust the chain tension
1.
Loosen the locknut.
2.
Turn the chain tension adjusting bolt
clockwise until it is finger tight, and then
loosen it 1/4 turn.
