Fitting the Carrying Eye

For position of carrying eye
"Parts and Controls"
:
Place the clamp (1) with the
tapped hole on the left-hand side
of the drive tube.
:
Squeeze the two ends of the clamp
together and hold in that position.
:
Insert M 6 x 14 screw (2).
:
Line up the carrying eye.
:
Tighten down the screw firmly.

Mounting the Deflector

1 = Deflector approved for all cutting
tools
2 = Deflector approved for use with
mowing heads only
:
Place the deflector on the
gearhead.
:
Fit the plate (3) and line it up.
:
Insert M 5 x 18 screws and tighten
down firmly.

Fitting skirt and blade
:

These parts must be fitted to the
deflector (1) when you use a
mowing head:
Slide the lower guide slot of the
skirt (4) onto the deflector (1) – it
must snap into position.
Push the blade (5) into the upper
guide slot on the skirt and line it up
with the first hole.
Fit the screw and tighten it down
firmly.
