The Front Panel

The front panel of the switch is shown below.

2.3.1 Power LED

This green indicator is on when power is applied.
2.3.2

Port LEDs

Port LED indicators on the front panel show the operating status of each port.
2.3.2.1 Phoneline Networking Ports
Each phoneline networking ports has two LED indicators.
Link LED
A steady green Link LED indicates that the link is up and ready. If the port is
connected but the Link LED is off, check the following items:
Ø Power to the switch and the connected device is on.
Ø The cable is firmly seated in the port of the switch and in the connected
device.
Ø The cable is good and of the correct type.
Ø The connected device is functioning.
Activity LED
The Activity LED blinks when the port is transmitting data.
