PROBLEM
The transceiver does

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
• Change to a new battery pack (Survival).
• Recharge the battery pack (On-board).
• Correctly attach the battery pack.
• Set the squelch to the threshold point.
• Set the volume to a suitable level.
• Remove the water from the speaker.
• Dry the [MIC/SP] connector.
• Change channels.
• Change to a new battery pack (Survival).
• Recharge the battery pack (On-board).
• Push [Hi/Lo•
] to select high power.
• Push [Hi/Lo•
] for 1 second to cancel
the function.
• Set the beep tone to ON (Fix Beep/User
Beep) in the SET mode.
• Leave the transceiver at room temperature
for a while. Turn the power ON to check if the
internal temperature has returned to normal.
• Verify that the battery voltage is correct.
