XTE Alarm

The XTE (cross-track error) alarm warns you when your boat is off its intended course.
You must set a destination to use this alarm.
Intended
course
To set the XTE alarm:
1. Open [Home] and tap the [Visual Alarm] menu icon.
2. Tap [XTE Alarm].
3. Tap [On] or [Off] to activate or deactivate the alarm. To change the alarm value,
go to step 4.
4. Tap the numeric value to show the Numeric Keypad and set the alarm value (set-
ting range: 0.00 to 5.39 nm).
5. Tap outside the menu screen to close the menu.
6. Tap [Exit] to close [Home].

Shear Alarm

The shear alarm sounds when the water temperature change in 30 seconds exceeds
the value set.
To set the shear alarm:
1. Open [Home] and tap the [Visual Alarm] menu icon.
2. Tap [Shear Alarm].
3. Tap [On] or [Off] to activate or deactivate the alarm. To change the alarm value,
go to step 4.
4. Tap the numeric value to show the Numeric Keypad and set the alarm value (set-
ting range: 0.00 to 35.99°F).
5. Tap outside the menu screen to close the menu.
6. Tap [Exit] to close [Home].

Depth Alarm

The depth alarm sounds when the depth is within or outside the alarm range set.
To set the depth alarm:
1. Open [Home] and tap the [Visual Alarm] menu icon.
2. Tap [Depth Alarm].
