Custom RCD Setting – Var mode
To measure RCD tripping time for a custom RCD setting – Var mode:

x 1 for this test.

Repeat steps 4 through 7 listed in the RCD tripping time measurement
procedure.

To view the nominal setting used for the test, press .
The maximum setting for type A RCDs is 700 mA. Var mode is
not available for type B RCDs.

RCD Tripping Time in Auto mode

To measure RCD tripping time in Auto mode:

Plug the Tester into the outlet.
Turn the rotary dial to the ΔT position.
