CAUTION: Failure to disconnect the AC Adapter from the
computer and remove the battery pack before removing and
installing internal components can damage the equipment.
The Compaq Presario 305 Model Portable Computer has several
screws of various sizes which are not interchangeable. Care must
be taken during reassembly to ensure that the correct screws are
used in their appropriate locations. During removal please keep
screws with their associated sub-assembly.
