5. Disconnect and
remove the RTC battery.
6. Wait for five minutes.
7. Reconnect the RTC
battery.
8. Reconnect the AC
Adapter. Do not reinstall
the battery pack yet.
9. Turn on the computer
to verify that the power-
on password has been
cleared. If it has not
been cleared, repeat all
steps above.
