    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE AFTER EACH USE: Brush the accumulated hair from the cutters. DO NOT SUBMERGE THE HAIR CLIPPER IN WATER. • Hold the clipper so that you are looking at its back (rubber housing), locate the blade release tab indentation at the base of the blade and push it inwards (towards the cutting blades) with your thumb.

If you are cutting for the first time, start with the maximum guide comb, until you know how short you would like your hair to be.
