Installation

This chapter provides the following procedures for installing the QuickPanel
View/Control unit:
Panel Cutout
Mounting Clamp Locations
Installation Using Mounting Clamps
Connecting a DC Power Supply

Conditions of Safe Use


Provision shall be made to provide transient protection to be set at a level
not exceeding 40% of the rated voltage.

In Class I Zone 2 hazardous areas, the product shall be mounted using
supplied mounting clamps.to the flat surface of an enclosure with a
minimum ingress protection rating of at least IP54 as defined in IEC 60529.
 The product's touch screen has not been evaluated regarding the potential
damaging effects from UV. Use of the QuickPanel should be restricted to
indoor applications, with regular inspections to check for deterioration of the
touch screen materials. Repair or replace the QuickPanel if damaged.
