RINTING STORED AND SECURE DOCUMENTS
There are four types of jobs that can be stored in the printer:

Stored
>
Secure
>
Proof Print
>
Timed
Optionally an expiration time may be specified for Stored, Secure and Proof Print job types.
The expiration time indicates the number of days the jobs may be stored before being
automatically deleted.
The hard disk may be damaged and erase important data saved in
the hard disk. We recommend you back up your data.

TORED JOBS
A stored job is the same as a secure print job except that it is not deleted from the storage
device after it is printed. By storing frequently-used data in the printer, you can print the
job from the printer control panel, without sending it from the computer again and again.

T THE COMPUTER
This section explains the procedure using WordPad on Windows XP as an example. The
procedure is the same for other Operating Systems.
NOTE
The way to display the printer properties dialog box differs according to the
application software. Refer to the manual of your respective application
software.
1.
From the File menu, select Print.
2.
Select this printer as the printer to be used and click Preferences or for some
applications may say Properties.
3.
From Job Options tab in the Job Type group, select Stored.
4.
In the Job Identification group, enter a name at Job Name. The job name is
needed at the printer to retrieve the particular job.
5.
In the Job Identification group, enter a 6 digit password at Job Pin. Enter a Six
digit numeric password. The Password must be strong, i.e. non consecutive
numbers.
6.
Enter the job expiration time. A value of zero specifies that the job will not expire.
