Fuel strainers
The primary fuel strainer is mounted between the fuel tank and fuel
pump, and secondary fuel strainer is mounted between the fuel pump
and carburetor.
Water in the fuel strainer or clogged fuel strainer can cause lack of
engine power or poor start up of the engine. Inspect the fuel strainer at
every end of the season.
Primary fuel strainer inspection
1. Remove the left side cover (see page 34 or 35 ).
2. Check the primary fuel strainer. If these is water, sediment or any
foreign material in the fuel strainer, take the snowblower to an
authorized Honda dealer.
3. Reinstall the left side cover (see page 34 or 35 ).
