8. Turn the engine switch to the ''ON'' position, and check the indicator
lights.

9. Turn the engine switch to the ''START'' position and release the
switch after the engine is started. The switch automatically returns
to the ''ON'' position.
If the engine does not start within 5 seconds after cranking the starter,
wait for about 10 seconds and restart the engine.
When the snowblower is refueled for the first time after prolonged
storage, the engine does not start until the carburetor is filled with the
gasoline. Turn the engine switch to the ''ON'' position and wait for a
several seconds.
