Engine oil change
If the engine oil is dirty, engine wear will occur more rapidly. Change
the oil at designated intervals. Maintain the oil at the proper level.
ENGINE OIL CAPACITY:
Without oil filter replacement:
With oil filter replacement:
If you drain the oil immediately after stopping the engine, its
temperature will be high and may cause burns.
1. Place the snowblower on level surface, and raise the auger by
operating the auger control lever (see page 24 ).
2. Remove the left side cover and open the engine hood (see page 32
− 35 ).
3. Remove the oil filler cap.
4. Hold the extension pipe with a wrench and remove the drain bolt
and sealing washer. Drain the oil while the engine is still warm, to
assure rapid and complete draining. Discard the sealing washer, do
not reuse the sealing washer. Replace the sealing washer with new
one.
5. Install the new sealing washer and drain bolts, and hold the
extension pipe and tighten the drain bolt securely.
