HST (hydrostatic transmission) oil level
Check the HST oil level while the transmission is cold.

Open the engine hood (see page
2.
Check that the oil level is anywhere between the ''UPPER'' and
''LOWER'' level marks on the reservoir.

If the oil level is low, fill to the upper level mark. Remove the
reservoir cap and rubber seal, and add recommended oil up to the
''UPPER'' level mark.

Recommended oil:
The same as the recommended engine oil (see page
Never remove the rubber seal unless it is necessary to replenish the
reservoir with oil. Be careful not to allow foreign particles to enter
the reservoir when replenishing the oil.
If the oil level is abnormally low, stop operating the snowblower
immediately, an authorized Honda dealer.

After replenishing, reinstall the rubber seal and reservoir cap
securely, then close the engine hood (see page
