To comply with FCC part 15, subpart
J,
electromagnetic inter-
ference requirements for computing devices, a shielded signal
cable is required for either serial or parallel operation of the
Model 880 printer. TI cable part number 2223106-0001 for paral-
lel operation or part number 2230504-0001 for serial operation or
equivalent should be used. Failure to use the properly shielded
cables may result in radio frequency interference in excess of
the levels allowed by law. The user of equipment found to be
out of compliance would be liable for any interference and
corrective action to eliminate that interference.
