w THX room mode setting
Adjust the picture to room illumination or ambient
brightness. This function available only when AV Mode
is set to "MOVIE THX".

Advanced picture settings

The advanced settings enable you to set the picture
adjustment in more detail.

Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.
Press b / c / d to select "Picture".

w C.M.S.-hue
This function adjusts the hue of a selected colour using
a six-colour adjustment system.
w C.M.S.-saturation
This function increases or decreases the saturation of a
selected colour using a six-colour adjustment system.
w C.M.S.-value
This function makes the image brighter or darker
depending on the value of the setting.
w Colour gamut range
Adjusts the range of a subset of colour to display
the image. Expanded colour gamut means more
colourfulness; images become more vivid.

Standard colour gamut.
More vivid colour with expanded colour

NOTE
• This function is available only when selecting "MOVIE" from
the "AV mode" menu.
w Colour temp. (Colour temperature)
Adjusts the colour temperature to give the best white image.

High
White with bluish tone.
Mid-High
Intermediate tone between "High" and "Middle".
Middle
Natural tone.
Mid-Low
Intermediate tone between "Middle" and "Low".
Low
White with reddish tone.
10 point *
Finely adjusts each colour temperature
setting
between 1 to 10 points.
R/G/B Gain
Adjusts the white balance by changing
(LO), R/G/B
the value of each item.
Gain (HI)
NOTE
• The item marked with * is available only when selecting
"STANDARD", "MOVIE" or "STANDARD (3D)" from the "AV
mode" menu.
