Setting the One push PF function to On

You can press the shutter release button all the way down (single step)
without pressing the button halfway to shorten the shutter delay. Set the

"One push PF" in the [A Rec.Mode] menu to on to use the One push PF
function.
The One push PF function allows you to release the shutter at the right
moment. The pictures are taken as deep-focus (pan focus) shots.

Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [One push PF].

Use the four-way controller (45)
to select [O (On)/P (Off)].
The camera is ready for taking pictures.
The One push PF function works only when Focus Mode is
Standard (Autofocus) and One push PF in the [A Rec.Mode] menu
is set to On.
