Taking Pictures Using the Shake Reduction Function

"Camera shake" occurs when you jiggle your hands while taking pictures.
"Blurring" is likely to occur when you take pictures of moving subject. This
camera features image compensation systems and functions that work
for both "camera shake" and "blurring". Enjoy taking still pictures and
movies without worrying about image blur.
Shake Reduction function for still images
The CCD-shifting shake reduction system * is activated.
The camera detects the shake of your hands and automatically
compensates for image blur. You can preview the compensated image
on the LCD monitor before taking the picture.
Digital SR mode
The mode allows you to set the sensitivity to maximum ISO3200. The
higher shutter speed enables the reduction of both "camera shake" and
"blurring".

Movie SR function for movies
The movie anti-shake function electronically compensates for image blur.
