When using the LAN, set [LAN] to [Enable]* in the Setup Utility. (* Default)

Select [Network] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]

After selecting [Adapter] and selecting [Add], proceed to step 5.

Select [Wired to the network] and then select [Next]

Select [Select from list] and then select [Have Disk]

Input [c:\util\drivers\lan] and then select [OK]

Select [Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter]
and then select [OK]

1 Select [Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter] and then
select [OK]
2 Select your protocol and network service (etc.).
3 Select [Close] and follow the on-screen instructions, then proceed to
step 11.

Perform this procedure only when the screen to insert the Windows NT
CD is displayed.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
The settings will vary for different network environments depending on the
network system being used. For more details, ask your system administrator
or the person in charge of the network.

In [Start]-[Run], input [c:\sp6\sp6i386.exe] and then select
[OK]

NOTE
Do not enter the hibernation mode during communications.
When using the computer as a network computer, some additional settings
may have to be made depending on the usage conditions. We recommend
asking your system administrator or the person in charge of the network.
When the indicator of your hub unit does not light:
1 Select [Adapters] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [Network].
2 Select [Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Ethernet Adapter].
3 Select [Properties].
4 Change the settings by following on-screen instructions.
