Connecting the AC adapter

Use the Epson PS-180 or an equivalent product as the AC adapter.
If the printer emits smoke, fire, heat, any strange odor, or unusual noise, turn off the
power immediately and unplug the equipment.

Make sure the printer's power is turned off.

Connect the AC cable to the AC adapter.

Insert the connector of the power supply cable onto the power supply
connector (stamped 24V).
When removing the DC cable for the AC adapter from the printer, check that the AC cable
is not connected, and then grasp the arrow marked section of the connector and pull it
straight out.
