Use of smock stitch.
I. Make a straight line of gathers across
the fabric of aprox.

the fabric that you wish to smock.

With a narrow strip of fabric directly
under the line of gathering, stitch
over the gathers . The design will be a
series of small diamonds .
NOTE:
When smocking a garment, the stitching
should be done before the piece is sewn
into the garment.

den Krauselbereicht eventuell
mit Schragband unterlegen .
2. Nahen Sie mit dem Rautenstich
zwischen den Geradestichlinien.
Wenn Sie damit fertig sind,
ziehen Sie den Krau selfaden
hemus .
WICHTIG :
Nahen Sie die Smockarbeit bevor das so
verzierte KleidungsstUck zusammennaht
wird.
