Grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull it
out.

Close the side door.

From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

Push the paper pick tab, and then remove all paper from the
multipurpose feeder.
Warning—Potential Damage: Pulling the paper out, without
pushing the paper pick tab first, may cause the paper pick
tab to break.

Grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull it
out.
Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.
3 Reload paper into the multipurpose feeder, and then adjust the
paper guides.

From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

1 Remove all original documents from the ADF.

Open the ADF cover.

Grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull it
out.

Reload original documents into the ADF, straighten the stack,
and then adjust the paper guide.

From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

Try one of more of the following:

Close the ADF cover.
