Chapter 2 Scanning a Document
Follow this general procedure to start scanning a document using Scanning Utility
5000.
Preparing the scanner and the computer
Before scanning, turn the scanner and the computer ON, and start up
Scanning Utility 5000.
Setting basic scan conditions
Set the basic scan conditions in the Scanning Utility 5000 setting
screen.
Loading and scanning the document
Load the document and start scanning.
Scanning two or more pages (
Scanning just one page and confirming the scanned image ( P. 26)
Confirming the scanned image
Display the scanned image on
screen for confirmation.
Printing the scanned image
Print out the scanned image.
