Operation
Check the pad wear (1.5 min). Check that the
brake discs are not worn, scored or warped. Check
the correct level of fluid in the pumps and replace
brake fluid if necessary. Check there is no air in
the circuits; if necessary, bleed the air. Check that
the front brake calliper moves in axis with the disc.
Failing elastic fittings, plunger or brake pump
seals, replace
Check the brake disc screws are locked; measure
the axial shift of the disc with a dial gauge and with
wheel mounted on the scooter.
Operation
Replace the calliper.
Check the brake disc screws are locked; use a dial
gauge and a wheel mounted on the vehicle to
measure the axial shift of the disc.
Clean carefully and blast with compressed air
