Electrical connection

This appliance is supplied with
connection cable and a NEMA L15-30P
plug.
,
The voltage, rated load and fuse
rating are given on the data plate.
Please ensure these match the site
mains supply.
Connection to the electricity supply
must only be carried out by a suitably
qualified and competent person in strict
accordance with current local and
national safety regulations.
,
Connection should be made via
a suitable isolator or plug. This must
be easily accessible for
disconnecting the tumble dryer from
the electrical supply.
If the appliance is hard-wired, provision
must be made on site to switch off all
poles. Switches with a minimum all-pole
contact gap greater than 3 mm are
suitable for isolating the appliance.
These include circuit breakers, fuses
and protective devices (IEC/EN 60947).
If the appliance is disconnected from
the electricity supply ensure adequate
measures are taken to ensure that the
appliance cannot be reconnected to
the electricity supply until all work has
been carried out. For extra safety and
protection we recommend connecting
the machine by a 30mA residual
current device (RCD).
Installation and connection
Any changes to the electrical
installation, including fitting or replacing
circuit breakers and fuses and
replacing the mains connection cable,
must be carried out by an approved
electrician to ensure compliance with
all local and national electrical safety
requirements.
