Pass the scroller shaft through the roll spacer with fixtures at
its both sides, scroller flange, and flange shaft fixture.

(1) Insert the ange spacer
between the scroller ange and
the paper tube.
NOTE:
- To wind the media in LOOSE
winding mode, without inserting
the ange spacer, push the scroller
ange as far as it goes.
(2) Push the scroller ange until it
stops and turn the handle
clockwise until the ange is
xed to the paper tube.
NOTE:
- If you keep loosening the scroller
ange handle, it will block at a
certain level.
Handle
Unscrewing the handle beyond that
limit may damage the scroller
ange. Pay attention when
loosening the handle.
(3) Remove the ange spacer.

Paper tube
Check the flange
spacer's correct position.
The ange spacer should
be inserted to the
position indicated by the
line B.
Be careful not to deform
it by applying too much
force.
Move the roll spacer to the paper
tube center, and fasten the fixtures
at the roll spacer's both sides.
The roll spacer prevents the
paper tube from bending at
the center due to the media
weight.
Move it when using media
that tends to bend (100-inch
media, etc.).
Move it also if it comes in the
way of the flange spacer used
with media short in width.

(4) Cover the scroller ange's convex
part with the ange shaft xture,
and push the ange shaft xture as
far as it goes

(5) Turn the knob to x the scroller
shaft.
