TROUBLESHOOTING
II Remote control
Problem
The remote control
does not work nor
function properly.
The remote control
does not "learn" new
functions.

Cause
Wrong distance or angle.
Direct sunlight or lighting (from an
inverter type of fluorescent la111p. etc.) is
shiking the renl0te control sensor of this
unit.
The batteries are weak.
The Inanufacturer code has not been
correctl
y
set.
Even if the InaufactureI code is correctly
set, there are some lnodels that do nOl
respond lo the remole control.
The batteries of this ren10le control and/
or the other remote control are too weak.
The distance between the two relnote
controls is too much or too little.
The signal coding or modulation of the
other renl0te control is not compatible
with this relnole control.
Memory capacity is full.
Remedy
The remote control will function within a maXimU111 range of
6
n1 (20 feet) and no n10re than 30 degrees off-axis Iroln the
front panel (see page
7).
Reposition this unit
Replace the batteries.
Set the 111anufacturer code correctly (see page 45).
Try to set the other codes of the sa111e tnaufacturer (see page
45)
Progran1 the necessary functions independently into the
progralnmable buttons on this unil's ren10te control using lhe
Leanl feature
Replace the batteries (see page
3).
Place the remote controls at the proper distance (see page 47).
Learning is not possible
Further learning is not possible without deleting unnecessary
functions (see page 47).
