TWIN NEEDLE SEWING

With a twin needle, you can sew two parallel lines
of the same stitch using two different threads;
however make sure that the two threads are of the
same weight and quality for balanced stitching.
The needle distance of the twin needle can not
exceed 5.0mm. If using a 5.0mm twin needle it is
recommended to only use with the straight stitch.
2.0mm twin needle is recommended for use with

decorative stitches.

1. Insert the twin needle with flat side of the
needle facing the back. See instructions for
changing the needle on page 33.
2. Place one spool of thread on each spool pin.
Thread the left spool of thread through the
upper thread path, by pass the needle clamp
thread guide and then into the left needle eye
manually. (The needle threader cannot be used
with twin needle.)
3. Thread the right spool of thread through the
upper thread path, into the needle clamp
thread guide, and then into the right needle
eye manually. (The needle threader cannot be
used with twin needle.)

Note: Always use the standard presser foot
(0A) or the fancy stitch foot (1A) when
sewing with a twin needle.
