Fuel reserve
General warning light
lights up in yellow.
Fuel reserve symbol is
displayed and flashes
10 times.
The fuel tank contains a fuel
reserve of maximum 4 liters.
The Tripmaster indicates the
probable residual operating
range ( 34).

A fuel shortage can lead
to the motor dying unex-
pectedly, and can therefore
result in dangerous driving
situations.
Do not drive until the fuel tank
is completely empty.c

the catalytic converter.

Coolant temperature
General warning light
lights up in red.
Coolant temperature
indicator flashes

Coolant temperature too high.
Continued driving with an
overheated engine can
result in engine damage.
Always observe the measures

• Check coolant level, top up if
necessary.
• If possible, ride in the part-
load range to cool down the
engine.
• In traffic jams, switch off the
engine, but keep the ignition
on so that the radiator fan
continues to operate.
