The svcCom3Polled() function allows the application to check if the ECR
x
address the M
800 series terminal is being polled by the ECR. The terminal must
be configured for tailgate mode and set to a particular address. This function when
called, will return the number of polls that occurred since the last time it was
requested. The internal poll count is only updated at most, once per second. So, if
this function is called more than that frequency, it will return the last value
reported. This same function is used during a System Mode ECR Download in
tailgate mode to check if the terminal is being polled. If the terminal is being polled
by the ECR, then the message
