Description
The 5620 SAM supports the management of up to 16
data centers. You can create multiple data center
objects in your cloud network.
The 5620 SAM supports the management of a virtual
chassis — two 7850 VSG or 7850 VSA NEs operating as a
single management entity.
The 5620 SAM supports software gateways as a
standard attachment for virtualized services.
The 5620 SAM exposes the distributed NAT
configuration state within the lightweight service. The
distributed NAT IP address can be used to troubleshoot
and highlight network routes using the 5650 CPAM.
The 5620 SAM supports correlation for absent V-Port or
BGP Prefix events. In cases where a V-Port or BGP
Prefix event is expected, but not present, the 5620 SAM
raises an alarm.
The 5620 SAM supports a new fault management
framework with correlation rules specific to data
center alarms and events.
The 5620 SAM supports the use of IGP prefix
information for correlation purposes. IGP monitors are
used to monitor virtual components associated with an
IGP route and correlate IGP status to those objects.
The 5620 SAM supports persistency for deleted
V-Switch Sites on virtualized services.
The 5620 SAM supports the automatic creation of
virtual spoke SDPs on EVPN services.
The 5620 SAM supports service highlighting from the
V-Site.
The 5620 SAM uses information from IGP monitors to
correlate events to virtualized service objects when
upstream routers are added or removed or when there
is a redundancy change.
The 5620 SAM provides network management and fault
monitoring functionality for virtualized services using
the following web-based applications:
Data Center Inventory
Data Center Service Navigator
The 5620 SAM supports the 7850 VSG, 7850 VSA, and
standalone VSC, Release 2.1.
The 5620 SAM supports a hierarchical list of services
under each customer. This enhancement allows for
more navigability of virtualized services from the DC
web applications.
The 5620 SAM supports statistics and TCAs for SGWG
port (bridge and host) and SWGW V-Switches (VSG and
VRSG).
The 5620 SAM supports L3 VPLS for Release 3.0 Nuage
network elements on V-Ports acting as a VSG gateway.
