Removing earmold and hearing
instruments
• Lift the instrument from your ear first.
• Push the back of your ear with your thumb
to loosen the helix part of the earmold, then
use your index finger to remove it.
• Grasp the helix part of the earmold and twist
it forward.
• Gently pull the earmold straight out of the
ear, holding on to the helix part of the mold.
Important: Do not remove the earmold by
pulling on the hearing instrument. This
could disconnect the instrument from the
earmold or damage the tubing.
