Shooting under continuous light sources
When shooting under continuous light sources, such as
a video light or a fluorescent light, it is recommended to
adjust the white balance using the One Push function,
and to set Exposure Mode to MANUAL EXPOSURE.
Studio light (halogen light, etc.)

Selection of the Aperture Setting

The aperture setting of the camera can be selected when
Exposure Mode is set to APERTURE PRIORITY or
MANUAL EXPOSURE.
Four F-stops are available. When the zoom range is set
to 2.6× and the zoom lever is set to W (f=7.5 mm), the
available F-stop values are F2.8, 3.8, 5.0, and 8.0.
However, as the zoom setting becomes closer to T
(f=19.8 mm), F-stop values become greater even if the
F-stop numbers are the same, and the picture becomes
darker. At the highest aperture settings, if F-stop values
become higher than F10, shooting is impossible,
because the picture becomes too dark. Therefore, such
aperture settings are automatically disabled.
Choices of estimated F-stop values at various zoom
positions are shown in the table below.
