Close all programs that are running, and check that a
camcorder is not connected to the computer.

Set the DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK in the computer's CD-
ROM drive.

Double click the CD-ROM icon and the
[CanonDigitaIVideolnstaller] icon.

Click Digital Video Software [Install].

Select [Easy Installation] and click [Next].
• To install the software individually, select [Custom Installation].

Read the license agreement and click [Agree].

Review the installation settings and click [Next].

When the "Installation has finished." message appears, click
[OK].
• After the installation is complete, restart the computer as prompted.

After the computer has restarted, copy and read the PDF
manual enclosed in the DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK.
1) Double-click the CD-ROM icon displayed on the Desktop.
2) Double-click the [MANUAL] folder followed by the [ENGLISH] and [DIGITAL
VIDEO SOFTWARE] folders.
3) Drag and drop the PDF manual icon to the desired destination folder.
4) Double-click [DIGITAL VIDEOVxxWENG N.PDF].
Adobe Reader is required to view the PDF manual. If you do not have the
software installed on your computer, please download it from the following
website.
http://www.adobe.com

Connect the camcorder to the computer and start downloding
the images recorded on the memory card.
