Brightness
Drag the slider to adjust the brightness of printing results. Adjustment ensures that no
parts of the brightest and darkest portions of the image are lost in the printout. When the
results of the printout is brighter than the original images such as the original photo
before scanning and graphics created on the display, or when you want to print in
different degree of brightness, use this feature. Check the adjusted image in the Preview
area.
Note
This function is enabled only when Driver Correction, ICC Correction or No Correction
is selected for Mode on the Matching sheet of the Color Settings dialog box.
Contrast
Drag the slider left or right to darken or lighten the image. Contrast adjusts the relative
brightness between the lightest light and darkest dark portions of the image.
Watch the Preview graphic (top) in the Preview area change as you adjust the settings.
Note
This function is enabled only when Driver Correction, ICC Correction or No Correction
is selected for Mode on the Matching tab of the Color Settings dialog box.
