SMS operation

This section shows how to operate the connected bus devices using SMS, short
message service.
4.1 Overview
The plant is operated from anywhere using a mobile phone or Smartphone via the
GSM network.
Text messages SMS allow for querying and changing display and setting values.

• The web
server OZS164.23 with standard SIM card is needed for remote
operation using SMS.
• SMS operation can be password-protected and limited to allowed phone
numbers (see Section 2.5.2, "SMS operation").
• To prevent damage of the SIM card, only insert or remove the SIM card in
powerless state of the device.
