Printer administration using the SNMP Manager (HP
OpenView)
OKIPAGE 12i and this network card support Management Information
Base (MIB, hereafter).
MIB is information that is sent/received between the managing host and
the devices that are managed, with SNMP protocol, for the network man-
agement, defined in RFC1213 (MIB II).
The structure of the MIB is expressed by Abstract Syntax Notation One
(ASN.1), and normally the results of compilation to the C-Language source
using the ASN.1 compiler are used in a management software and a device
to which it is incorporated.
For the OKIPAGE 12i , please use an ASN.1 file comes with this Network
card.
For the OKIPAGE 12i, please use a compiler comes with the SNMP
Manager.
Of the MIBs defined by various RFCs, OKIPAGE 12i supports Private MIB
only.
