Error Messages
Paper is jammed in the printer. Turn off the printer,
open the scanner unit, and remove the paper. See
your documentation.
A printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer and
turn it on again. Please see your documentation.
Cannot recognize photos. Make sure photos are
placed correctly. See your documentation.
A scanner error has occurred. See your
documentation.
The printer's ink pads are nearing the end of their
service life. Contact Epson Support.
The printer's ink pads are at the end of their service
life. Please contact Epson Support.
The print head cannot be cleaned completely with
Auto Head Maintenance. See your documentation.

Turn the printer off and then back on. If the error message still
appears, contact your dealer.
Contact Epson support to replace ink pads before the end of their
service life. When the ink pads are saturated, the printer stops and
Epson support is required to continue printing.
Contact Epson support to replace ink pads.
After cleaning, check the print head from the Maintenance menu
in Setup mode. If quality has not improved, contact Epson support
for repairs. If nozzles are still clogged you can continue printing by
setting Automatic Head Maintenance to off from the Maintenance
menu in Setup mode.
